+12 Sailing Trip
So the report tonight Sunday 5/21 was good. They have some wind from the NNW and are heading SSW. That should continue for about 24 or 36 hrs. Then they can make an exciting turn to the right for the downwind run home.
Still no warnings. And there is not much wind here at home right now but it will be another 10 days till they are really in this area. Brian was steering and Des was asleep. Still doing their watches. Making about 5 mph in 10 kts wind. That sounds slow but it adds up to 120 -150 miles per day. With 1,400 miles to go and no girley winds in the way they should be here in 10 to 12 days.
